Hi All. You can call me Klaira Blains. Yes it's a Pen Name and no I'm not keeping my real name a secret from the world. I am anything but embarrassed to say I wrote these works and am still writing. I am keeping my real name off them because I am a Scout Master and don't want my cubs popping onto a school computer and reading something that's not age appropriate.
So enough about that. I'm a mother and life is never dull around our house. But writing now takes up most of my days. What do I write about? That's hard and easy to explain. I haven't named my universe because the main concept of my fantasy realm is. What would happen if everything that went bump in the night really did exist and the biggest secret at the same time. The supermarket down the street you just went to buy milk at is really owned by a werewolf and you would never know it. That new nightclub owned by a mysterious woman? She's a vampire. But she'll never tell you that.
So my first series starts with "His Brother's Mate" in it you will meet the Wolversen family. The Alpha family of the Black River Pack. You'll also learn much about the other supernatural creatures hiding in a secret society as war breaks out.
In the next installment you get a more light hearted look at how the wolf shifters of the Black River Pack entertain and celebrate the season and family.
Keep an eye out in early 2021 for the next full-length novel in the series. "Hell Hounds". We find Yolanda Redgrave of the Black River Pack decked out in her wolfie biker babe glory, trying to throw RCMP Officer Ian Bennet off the evidence that's been found of the war and maybe onto her bed? With the help of her pack and her team of all female enforcers who knows what this tactless heroine will come up with?
There's also coming your way "Blue Moon Bed and Breakfast" in early 2021 also. Come to Evergreen Grove and stay at the Blue Moon it's magical. That's the tagline on the hard to find website. What locals say is that there's a little of the old magic still rambling around in the old walls of the Blue Moon Inn and everyone is better off for it. Stories of ghosts and fae travel thick in the history of Evergreen Grove where winter light festivals and skiing go hand-in-hand.
You can find above the blog on my website links to where you can find my novels and short stories. You can also find links to my Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Accounts. If you have any questions or comments I'd love to hear them. Until later.
Klaira
PS No stupid questions remember? Just leave it at the bottom of any post and we'll see what I can do about answering them.
